Does the Bulldog attend estimates and/or installations?

There have been instances the Bulldog will co-pilot and assist in the quoting process from the comfort of her passenger seat.

How long does a typical automation installation take?

Most residential installation jobs take approximately 1-2 business days. In some instances, specialty items may need to be ordered however, most parts are kept in stock.

Please Contact Us for commercial/industrial applications, as times will vary.

What is the warranty on installed equipment?

Parts are covered under the manufacture warranty for the first year extending up to 5 years on select equipment. Labor is covered for 1 year from the date of installation.

Can I purchase additional remotes?

Absolutely. Please contact us and we will provide additional remotes for your equipment.  Please note, there will be a cost incurred for the remotes.

What if my power goes out? How do I get out?

All operator equipment installed has a built in battery backup per the Phoenix code. If the power goes out, you will have approximately 40-80 cycles of the gate until power returns. A key will also be provided to manually disengage the operators if needed.

Can I control my gates from my phone?

Yes! If you have accessible WiFi at the property, we can get you connected.

What areas do you service?

We service areas of  Phoenix, Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, Tempe, Chandler, Ahwatukee, Mesa, Gilbert, and Queen Creek and surrounding cities.

What training do the installers have?

Our installers are IDEA Certified

Certified Operator gate installers through AFA University.

LiftMaster Factory trained

Doorking Factory trained

As well as ongoing training through Encon.

Can you build the gate as well as the automation?

Absolutely! We are your one-stop shop for gates, automation & access control!

As a division of Action Gates Inc., we work hand in hand to give you a turn-key operation! In doing so, we are able to gain a competitive edge, unlike our competitors.

How effective is solar?

Depending on the application, solar is the way to go. Installed units are low power consumption DC motors, that enable a small amount of sun to go a long way. We have solar applications over the entire valley, and not one complication to date. We are, the valley of the sun!

What is required to get started?

A 50% deposit is required to place hold on the equipment to begin the process. We will send you an electronic agreement via email to sign, which outlines the scope of work, the equipment/product and the terms of the agreement. Once this is complete, our office will contact you to schedule your installation.

Do I need to be present for the installation?

You do not need to be present for the installation however, a contact number to reach you during installation is preferable. The installer will go through installation procedures, locations of equipment and demonstration following the install, which will be sent to you electronically for future reference.

Will you install supplied equipment?

As we cannot warranty any equipment provided outside of our suppliers, we do not  install equipment supplied by our customers.

What brands do you offer?

We install only top of the line, name brand equipment including, LiftMaster, Doorking, Viking, All-o-Matic and other leading brands. We will not install off brand units as technical support, lack of parts availability and longevity of the units are not up to our quality standards.

We love our automated gate! Do you offer referral incentives?

Absolutely! Ask us about our referral program. Much of our business is referral based and we are happy to share our appreciation!

How secure are automated gates?

Each installation varies however, overall, automated slide gates tend to be the most secure option. If you are looking to add that additional level of security to your gate, we do offer a maglock (magnet locks) and a solenoid lock to ensure the highest level of security.

What kind of entry systems do you provide?

With access control varying from residential to business, the requirements will vary as well. We can offer a simple and straightforward remote for access, to a more detailed setup such as a telephone entry system/security card access and ID tracking. Either can be installed as hard wired or wireless.

For residential, a keypad and/or remote access by phone with the option for video feed is quite common. For commercial, industrial or community, telephone access with employee tracking has been a common request.

Do you provide training for use of the equipment?

For residential, customers will receive a demonstration of the equipment along with a review of all features and safety implications. You will also receive this information electronically for future reference.

For Commercial and Community jobs, you will receive approximately 1-2 hours of training on applicable equipment and software.
